Music For Everyone’s annual Open Day is coming up on Sunday 23rd June!
Bring along your friends & family to try out free classes, hunt through our Music Market (being hosted by vintage specialists ‘Revolve Records & Relics’), grab a sausage sizzle & coffee out the front, and catch live performances all throughout the day, including the ‘Massed Strings’ group strings event conducted by Andrew Lorenz.
It’ll be a jam-packed schedule to celebrate all things musical! Don’t forget to tune into our Facebook page for up-to-date details!
Just a reminder that our term dates for the rest of the year are as follows:
Term 3: Monday 22nd July – Friday 27th September 2013
Term 4: Monday 14th October – Friday 13th December 2013
Come along this Sunday 19th May at 11am for ‘A Little Autumn Concert’ – be entertained by our young (and young-at-heart) students as they perform for us whilst we enjoy a morning tea for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, to raise funds for the Cancer Council Australia.
Yummy treats will be available by donation – bring friends & family to support our students and a worthy cause!
If you can’t make it but would like to donate anyway, you can do so here on our Biggest Morning Tea event page:
Please note, the MFE office will be closed Thursday 25th April, and Friday 26th April.
We will resume our regular office hours at the start of Term 2, beginning Monday 29th April. Happy holiday and we’ll see you next term!
The National Folk Festival is fast approaching, as are the wonderful Masterclasses that we’re hosting beforehand at Music For Everyone next week! Check the link to sign up, limited places remaining for the 2-day workshops, running Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th March:
2013 has already been a big year of change, with Toni Maxfield kicking off the year as CEO of MFE. We have also just welcomed a new Program Coordinator, Mieka Lake, to the MFE office. Pop in and say “hi!” next time you’re at the Ainslie Arts Centre.
